Doran C James, Partner and Co-Founder of Wyoming Wealth Management.

I started my career as a Financial Advisor with E.F.Hutton, in 1987, here in Rock Springs. On 11-11-11 I co-founded Wyoming Wealth Management. We provide state of the art Financial Planning in conjunction, with Retirement Planning. We help investors create personalized investment management goals focused on wealth creation, then preservation and income.

Where it all began

I was born near Lincoln NE. My parents moved to Grand Junction, CO in the late 5O’S. My family moved around, so I was raised in Grand Junction, Montrose, Gunnison and Clifton. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree from Mesa State College in Grand Junction.

After college, I was hired into the management program with Armco Steel. I was sent to Farmington NM, Midland TX, Cortez, CO and then to Evanston, WY. When I hit Wyoming, I fell in love with the state! In 1987 I contacted E.F.Hutton in Rock Springs, they had an opening and I joined the team.

I have raised 4 boys. Rock Springs is a great place to raise children. Good schools and opportunities for kids. Over the years. the boys were able to participate in any extra-curricular activities that interested them. I have coached soccer and baseball, helped with Boy Scouts, basketball and track. During my 20 years with the United Way, I was on almost every committee, from Allocations to the Executive Board.

Activities

I enjoy Hiking, Elk hunting, Reading, Fishing, Boating, Water Skiing, Snow Skiing, Golf, Bowling, Disc Golf, Riding Horses, Dirt Bikes, Snowmobiling and other misc. activities.

Michael Majhanovich, Partner and Co-Founder of Wyoming Wealth Management.

Michael Majhanovich Born and raised in Green River and Rock Springs, WY. I have three children; daughters Chauna and Lisa and son Brian. I am also blessed with three wonderful grand-children. My wife Sylvia and I were recently married at the base of the Tetons outside of Jackson Hole, WY and enjoy visiting our home in Salt Lake City, UT on the weekends where we do a lot of bicycling, hiking and visiting the many restaurants in the area.

After returning to Sweetwater County from college at the University of Wyoming, I began working in the Real Estate markets with Century 21 and then sold many hundreds of homes with Pulte Home Corporation before opening my own real estate brokerage ERA, The Home Finders. I also added two businesses, VR Business Brokers and Centennial Mortgage, before selling them and beginning my financial advisor career at EF Hutton in 1988.
Over the years, I have served on many boards including President of Sweetwater County Realtors, President of Flaming Gorge Days and recently President of the Rolling Green Country Club during their eighteen hole expansion.

I enjoy all sports and loved coaching my son from T-ball thru Legion baseball. I am an avid golfer, snowmobiler, boater, and fisherman.

It was a lifelong goal of mine to get back into my own business again. So when the opportunity presented itself, my partner Doran James and myself created Wyoming Wealth Management, LLC on 11/11/11. As reported by Financial Planning magazine, June 1996-2015, based on total revenue. We provide state of the art financial planning and retirement planning with solid financial advice. We assist investors in creating personalized investment management goals focused on wealth and income.

I was born in Lander, Wyoming and moved to Green River when I was just starting kindergarten. I graduated from Green River High School before moving to Laramie where I started my financial career. I have 20 years of experience working with Credit Unions and Banks. In 2019 I started the career change to become a Wealth Consultant. At this time I currently hold my Wyoming Life Insurance License, Wyoming Variable Annuity Variable Life License, Series 6, 63 and 7. I have two daughters Allysa and Ashlyn who keep me very busy.

I have had a great opportunity to work for Wyoming Wealth Management under the supervision of both Michael Majhanovich and Doran James. They both bring a wealth of knowledge to the industry with a combined total of 67 years of experience.

At Wyoming Wealth Management we specialize in helping clients achieve their retirement goals and dreams to helping plan for the future for the new child or grandchild. We are able to build several different portfolio’s that will help meet your needs.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends camping and golfing.
